MAIE ("we", "us") operates this online store from Norway and follows the EU/EEA General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what rights you have.

What we collect

When you place an order we collect your name, email address, shipping and billing address, and order details. When you browse, Shopify — our platform provider — collects technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed, used to run the store securely. If you join our newsletter we store your email address until you unsubscribe.

Why we collect it

We use your data to fulfil orders, provide customer service, prevent fraud, and — only if you opted in — send you our newsletter. We do not sell or rent personal data.

Who we share it with

Only the parties needed to complete your purchase: our e-commerce platform (Shopify), payment processors, and delivery carriers, each under their own privacy terms and data-processing agreements.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as Norwegian bookkeeping law requires. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete other personal data at any time.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, and request data portability. Write to us via the contact page and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
